Our Favourite Vegan Banana Bread Recipe

A super easy and simple Vegan Banana Bread recipe by our founder, Talita Setyadi, that you can make anytime — using ingredients you might already have at home!

WET INGREDIENTS

425gr Ripe Bananas
20gr Ground Flaxseeds
110gr Non-dairy Milk
30gr Vegan Margarine
75gr Extra Light Olive Oil (or Coconut Oil)
40gr Maple Syrup

DRY INGREDIENTS

280gr Flour (White or Whole Wheat)
80gr Coconut Sugar
65gr Oats
1 1/3 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Cinnamon

TOPPINGS (OPTIONAL)

Oats
90gr Chocolate Chips or Roasted Chopped Walnuts

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 175°C
2. Grease a 11 x 21 x 7 cm loaf pan
3. Combine all wet ingredients together and mix until homogenous. Sift all dry ingredients and stir to combine in a separate bowl. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir with a whisk until combined. Add toppings and fold all together.
4. Bake for approximately 45 - 50 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 160°C, after 20 minutes to prevent over-browning.
5. Cool completely before turning out from the loaf pan. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
